Here comes another app Dubsmash that went viral in just seven days from its launch. Just a week from its official launch on 19th November ’14, the app was downloaded more than 10 billion times and had reached number one spot in their home country, Germany. Other countries are currently working on it to replicate it.
The app, Dubsmash, lets you record video selfies for a few seconds. Nothing new there, but what's different is the way it uses sound: you lip-sync to audio clips stored in the app's library that have been uploaded by users. These could be anything from a quick clip from a song, movie, or almost any other quote you can think of recording.
